Linda Guijt

Profile

Linda Guijt reads research papers on the brain for fun. She holds an MSc in psychology and neuroscience, with two decades of experience. She started her career in scientific research before spending almost a decade with the Dutch Police Force as a detective, investigating serious and organized crimes such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, and murder.

Here she witnessed the darkest sides of human behavior every day, as well as the extraordinary resilience people show in the face of it. During her time with the police, Linda learned all about life, human behavior, and herself.

These experiences brought Linda back to her passion for the brain. As she worked in various consulting roles around the world, she studied the scientific world of perception. Inspired by the power perception brings, Linda wrote her first book. She now helps individuals and organizations use their perception to reclaim their autonomy in today's uncertain world.
