Concetta Cucchiarelli is the founder of Sustainable Focus and has spent fifteen years researching perception, focus, and attention. She designed and patented Terpsyphoné, an award-winning interactive floor built to study how acoustic feedback changes the way people move.
Her research began in sound and has developed into a new account of what a distraction is. She has taught her method to professionals through more than a hundred workshops, lectures and masterclasses, and has two papers forthcoming in ecological psychology.
She is now writing her first book and building an AI tool that puts the method in people's hands. Her argument is simple and uncomfortable: focus was never about removing distractions. It's about staying open to them.
